How it works
- The show in real time, under tournament rules: no prize wheel, no prize squares.
- Up to ten people a table, with bots in any empty seats. The best-placed person at each table goes through to the next stage, until one table is left: the final. Only people are ranked.
- At the start time, open Play now: you'll be seated automatically. Anyone who isn't online two minutes after the start loses their place.
- Free to enter. Up to 100 people.
- Every capture scores the piece's value: pawn 1, knight 3, bishop 3, rook 5, queen 9, king 10. The order people go out in places them; points split those who go out together, and people who finish level at different tables.
- The official rules, in full.
- Anyone can watch here while it's played: the tables update by themselves.
